Metric

  • inventoryTurnover: SUM(orderLineItems.quantitySold) / NULLIF(AVG(inventoryLevels.onHandQuantity), 0)

Key dimensions

  • productType (products.productType)
  • collection (collections.collection)
  • location (inventoryLevels.locationId)

Caveats

  • Inventory turnover assumes line-item sales and inventory snapshots are aligned by grain/time.
  • For multi-location stores, filter by locationId when comparing turnover values.
